This is how C and I do casual Friday. I wear this hat to keep my head warm on these crisp mornings. I'm so glad it comes with a little string and button so I can attach it to my coat. Wouldn't you know it, the one morning I decide not to attach it, does a freakin' dump truck come blazing past me and lift it right off my head! I caught it by its little string. I have a grand total of two pairs of jeans and they are both in the wash from a recent trip to San Francisco. Just as well, as I am much more comfortable in dresses anyway. There is a lot more room for everything. I also own very few pure cotton things due to their tendency to wrinkle and my lack of motivation and skill for ironing. This dress is one of the few things. I have it because the husband picked it out at a small shop in Bali, where we spent our honeymoon. You can't really see the collar, but it's structured out of beads and makes one think of the beach and I long to think of the beach on this kind of overcast Friday.
